How to Create & Upload Your Own Spotify Canvas Videos

Spotify has finally released the Canvas feature to independent artists. This allows you to add looped videos to your songs on Spotify. This feature was only available to major artists and labels, but now just about anyone can create engaging video content to pair with the tracks.
In my video below I will walk you through how to create your own video on Final Cut Pro (you can use iMovie or any video editing app), and how to upload the video to Spotify successfully.
Your Spotify Canvas should meet these requirements:
- 9:16 ratio (vertical)
- At least 720px tall
- An MP4 or JPEG file
- 3s to 8s long (MP4 only)
